Help! Baby Frog Problem

5----# on inhabitants - ( if there is another frog --- is there a size difference ? )

7----is there a new tank mate----was the new tank mate quarantined
8----what is the typical humidity level
9----what temperature is maintained
10---what is, specifically, being used to maintain the temperature of the enclosure
11---describe the enclosure lighting ( very specifically)
12---describe enclosure maintenance ( water changes, cleaning etc)
13---what kind of water is used

-----for the frog's soaking dish
-----is de-chlorinator used / what brand
14---material(s) used for substrate - be very specific
15---enclosure set up:
-----if recent - describe how the enclosure was cleaned

Hi, the first thing you need to do is get the prolapse to go back in. If you sprinkle a little bit of sugar on the area it should make it go back in, and if you don't want to put the sugar right on the area you can make a sugar bath for him. you could put like a teaspoon of sugar for every 3ozs of warm declorinated water. After this you may want to give him a normal warm bath to wash the rest of sugar off. You may also need to bring him to vet to get a stitch if it was really bad to help prevent this from occurring again. But first thing is first you need to get it back in, you don't want it to start to dry out. And yes if you can answer those questions someone will be able to help you find the cause. Yeah, the sugar should bring the swelling down. Try to get it back in as soon as possible or get to the vet. If it starts to dry out it can lead to necrosis and death.
Also if you do succeed in getting it back in, keep a close eye on the frog because sometimes they have relapses.
