Default Having problems heating pacman tank!

Hi guys. Recently got a juvenile pacman and had the tank all set up with the heat mat at the bottom and temps were fine but then decided to put mat on the side after reading from other sources not to place it at the bottom incase the frog burns itself. now, with the mat on the side, i'm struggling to reach the right temperatures. I have an exo terra mini 30cmx30cmx30cm, can anyone help me to find a way to heat it?

You can use a heat lamp with dimmer switch. Infrared bulb. 50 watts or less.
