I wanted to make a post to help me evaluate my care for my GABF. I have read many care sheets and read posts regularly but since I am new to frogs I wanted to have my care validated.
I have had the frog for 2 months and it was just a baby when I got it. Here are some "weigh ins" that I have recorded.
Got him/her on 1/28
26grams on 2-3
66grams on 2-27
103grams on 3-12
140grams on 3-25

18x18
2 heats lamps red (one always) White on only during the day.
Temps are 80-85f during the day and 74-77 at night.
Humidity is between 75-90.
3 1/2inches of coco fiber and water changes daily or every other day with a couple drops of Reptisafe.
The frog and everything in the cage is removed and substrate is moistened every other week. Once a month, substrate is replaced and fake plants and cave structure are cleaned with Vinegar and rinsed well.
Food
He/she feeds everyday on a variety of gut-loaded crickets, nightcrawlers, and Dubias. Crickets and dubias are dusted with Calcium everyother day and dusted with multi-vitamin once per week.
I have also feed him/her horned worms and silk worms as well as superworms and red wigglers. (I figure changing up the treats regularly is good for the frog and more fun for me )
Question regarding food is: when should I switch over to every other day rather than everyday?
Looking excellent and spot on! Good job! Very pretty and happy frog!
i would just lower humidity a bit
you should stop feeding everyday, when it stops eating every day
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
So as long as he is hungry and wants to eat, keep feeding?
