i have mealworms that are pupating, ive got about 26 beetles, im wondering if anyones fed them to their red eyes? just wondering whether or not theyre toxic to them! thanks for the help
Not toxic but very high in chitin and could impact or cause a prolapse with your reds.
2.0.3 Hyla versicolor "Eastern Gray Tree Frogs"
2.2.0 Agalychnis callidryas "Red Eyed Tree Frogs"
0.0.3 Dendrobates auratus "Turquoise and Bronze"
0.0.1 Anaxyrus fowleri "Fowler's Toad"
I wouldn't say toxic, but like lily said due to the shell impaction and possible prolapse would be my big concern. I have whites and breed mealworms too. I feed them the occasionally meal worm treat, but only when they are baby worms and softer then when adults.
