    Default can Red Eyes eat darkling beetles?

    i have mealworms that are pupating, ive got about 26 beetles, im wondering if anyones fed them to their red eyes? just wondering whether or not theyre toxic to them! thanks for the help

    Not toxic but very high in chitin and could impact or cause a prolapse with your reds.

    I wouldn't say toxic, but like lily said due to the shell impaction and possible prolapse would be my big concern. I have whites and breed mealworms too. I feed them the occasionally meal worm treat, but only when they are baby worms and softer then when adults.
