I have a tank planted with pothos, which I believe is somewhat toxic. (?) Anyhow, I also get a cricket that escapes into the jungle now and then. If they nibble one of the plants will they be toxic to the frog? Enough to do any kind of harm?
This is an excellent question. Unfortunately, there's no scientific evidence to prove either case, so I guess it all comes down to your comfort level and common sense.
IMHO, if it's one cricket occasionally, I wouldn't put too much worry into it. I used to allow crickets to free roam in my white's enclosures and never had an issue.
