Default Toxic & Non Toxic Plants?

I've done a bit of research to find out what types of plants are okay for whites tree frogs. I decided to get a pothos plant as well as a snake plant, but I'm wanting to add some color to my tank as well.

I'm considering getting a bromeliad, but I also don't have a whole lot of extra room for wider plants like that. Im particularly wanting something that is tall and colorful that could go in the background. I know that Easter lillies are poisonous to calls and dogs, but are they poisonous to frogs as well? Any information on plants would be great, I don't necessarily need anything sturdy for them to climb on as they have three plants as well as other items in their tank. I just want one plant to add some color 🐸

Also, this isn't exactly about plants, but I'm want in to add branches to my tank. I haven't seen any in my local pet stores, aside from the bendable kind (which I have). How would I go about sterilizing some that I find from outside?

Thank you for reading! Insert your tank photos if you'd like. I love seeing how creative everyone is as well as getting ideas from them! I will post a photo of mine also (:

Default Toxic & Non Toxic Plants?

Aglaonema and Dracaena are popular plants for whites enclosures. I dont think that the lilies are poisonous but they do have a lot of pollen, may be overpowering in the tank and also might not thrive with the moisture.

You can boil branches that you find outside but I'm not sure.

Okay thanks! I'll steer clear of lilies then and look up info on the two that you suggested. I'm not very informed when it comes to plants, so I definitely need things that are easy to care for.

I'm pretty sure easter lily bulbs are poisonous. Not so sure about the rest of the plant. I agree with Eli: the pollen might be overwhelming.

You also might want to check out the Vivariums section on the forum to get the opinions of more plant people.
