So... a bunch of baby crickets just hatched in my pacman frog's habitat. Is this bad? or should i just leave it? I just now noticed this.

It means your conditions are pretty good, as crickets hatch best in similar conditions to keeping pacmans. They won't have food in your frogs habitat so they should be removed. If they get bigger they could be a nuisance to your frog. They can also escape easily and then you have bugs all over your house. But if you remove them and keep them in the proper container with good food and conditions, you'll have some good food for your frog in about a month.

The crickets must like your frogs tank!
I would actually recommend slowly changing out the substrate completely. There could be more eggs and once the crickets get the munchies your frog is on the menu

In case you can't round up all the baby crickets leave a bowl of aquatic frog pellets in the tank. That way the crickets have a source of fog friendly foods that won't hurt a pacman and actually can gut load the little things. Next is make sure adult crickets are being removed after 4hrs to avoid this in the future.

I've had crickets start laying within seconds of being dropped in my frog tank, but yes, removing the adults before they have been in there very long will reduce this and keep them from biting your frog. The little pinhead crickets won't be able to do much. Expect more in the coming day, removing the substrate to a separate cricket habitat will make dealing with them much easier.

well, I always make sure that my frog eats all the crickets I put in the tank. The cricket must have laid the eggs when I wasn't paying attention.
