I have been thinking about this a lot since Day light savings began in Fall 2014. I wasn't sure if I should or even wanted to change my timer times with Day light savings. In Fall 2014 I did change them and watched my frogs struggle with the time change. All of them would stay in their sleeping spots for an additional hour before emerging (the lights were coming on an hour early). It took them around a month to adjust to the change, my decision to change the time in the fall was a selfish one. I wanted to be sure and have the same amount of time with them in the evening.
Now here we are again. DLST has hit those of us who's countries still follow this silly rule. I have not changed my timers on my lights yet and I am leaning heavily towards not changing them. My lights were set to run from 7am-7pm, now since the change they run 8am-8pm. I am fine with this. I miss seeing them in the morning, but the frogs seem to really enjoy the sunlight creeping into the tanks before the lights come on.
To the point of this thread. Do you think light timers should be adjusted with Daylight savings time? Do you adjust your light timers? Why do you or don't you move the times to match the new DLST.

I don't change my timers. I try to keep a level of consistency in my tanks.

I don't normally change mine because I'm lazy, however, those that are in my showroom I usually adjust to make sure they are are on when customers typically come.
I have been adjusting mine by five minutes every couple of days, started a week before dst. I like having the one in my bedroom turn on around the same time my alarm goes off, but didn't want to throw them off with a sudden change. None of them seem to be having an issue with the slow change.
