Thumbs up Gastrotheca Riobambea / Andean Marsupial Tree Frog

    Oh my!!

Just have to share as those two creatures are not common to the pet trade...

Got my new babies last friday... a couple of gastrotheca Riobambea!

    A boy named Arliss..

The more brown in color. Tiny little precious gem! Full of personality already! First day home, he cobbled a couple worms, ran to the back of the tank and as i put my face in the window and talked to him, he came right back up to me! Havent weigh him yet but im thinking top 7-9 g. Hes so tiny! Between 2 and 4 months! God i love him! Hangs out in the open and doesnt stick to the window yet LOL. So he must be still around two months. ..

    And a girl named Aurifiss...

Named that way because of the pouch on her back that looks like an orifice.. or actually is an orifice.. lol. Absolutely stunning!!!! By shy and grumpy just like Giggs. Lol. Shes about 10-12 g im thinking. Quite a bit bigger than her partner. Shes the very sensitive one and the one i gotta be nit only careful but extremely vigilant. Planning in babies so got to do it the right way

Both made it here healthy! Both settling in.

Take a minute to read about them absolutely stunning and interesting creatures!!

Pictures cant upload.. will upload tonight

I know, some kind of goofy glitch that hasn't been remedied yet. Best to get yourself a photo hosting site, like Photobucket, then copy the URL of the pic and paste it into the pic file uploader here using the "From URL" feature (on the right)... just be sure to UNCHECK the little box on the bottom left or it won't work. Good luck! Can't wait to see the pics of them!
