Default 3 months in, first vivarium - questions on the next step - frogs!

    Hi all,

Since I introduced myself in December I've been letting my first viv grow in and stabilise.

I've got to add a misting system since I travel a bit, but will be looking to get my first darts in the next couple of months. The vivarium is 60X70X40 cms (without substrate etc).

I was thinking of a pair of Dendrobates leucomelas but some questions first,

Is this a good enclosure size for Dendrobates leucomelas? (60X40X60cm)

    Do I need more foliage?

Anything else I need to consider to get it ready?

    Cheers

    Bridgers

Beautiful setup. I don't know much about darts, so I can't help you there. I just wanted to let you know that the setup is really nice!

the size is good for a small group (3 or so). the frogs are only going to be concerned with a few things, temp, humidity, food. as long as those are provided, the aesthetics are entirely up to you. if you think it looks barren, add more plants, if you like the way it looks, then it's good to go.
