I got my american green tree frog in early November and he had been doing really well for the most part. Lately he's been acting lazy and doesn't climb as much. He is generally a bright green but has been looking blotchy and brown. He's a pretty large tank with lots of sticks and artificial plants to climb on with a small pond for him. There is a heat pad on the bottom and he usually has a regular light. I was thinking it might be too cold in the tank so now he has a heat lamp instead of the normal bulb. Has anyone noticed similar behavior? Any advice is appreciated.

Well, sadly my little guy passed away today. It looks like red leg disease was what caused it and I must say I am devastated. Thank you for your help.
So sorry for your loss
