I have a tadpole that is almost a full froglet (It has back legs and one front leg popped out today) and I can not tell if it is a bullfrog or a Leopard frog and I was wondering if there were any tell tale signs that it is one or the other. I bought it in November and it had tiny nubs for legs. over the last 4 months it has grown full back legs and got front legs.
Pictures are below.
Welcome to the frog forum Emily ! Based on color alone, I would say Leopard frog. Leopard frogs are an olive color while Bull frogs are usually bright green. How long is the tadpole?
Litoria caerulea 1.1.0 (White's Tree Frog)
Lampropeltis triangulum hondurensis 0.1.0 (Anerythristic Honduran Milk Snake) Tliltocatl albopilosus 0.0.2 (Curly Hair Tarantula)
Aphonopelma hentzi 0.0.1 (Texas Brown Tarantula)
Avicularia avicularia 0.0.2 (Pinktoe Tarantula)
Brachypelma smithi ex. annitha 0.0.1 (Mexican Giant Red Knee Tarantula) Monocentropus balfouri 0.0.2 (Socotra Island Blue Baboon Tarantula)
Harpactira pulchripes 0.0.1 (Golden Blue Leg Baboon Tarantula)
Sounds like you have a leopard frog for sure. Be happy that you won't have to buy a 100 gallon bullfrog tank . 20-30 gallons for an adult leopard .

I was really hoping it was a leopard frog. I was unsure because some of the pictures I looked up the leopard tadpoles were pale tadpoles.
