Hey everyone,
I've been having a lot of difficulty trying to figure out what kind of heating I should be using for white's tree frogs. I live in Australia and the terrarium is 18 inch tall. It will be kept indoors.
I've heard from many keepers that a heat cable or heat mat isn't effective for an arboreal species such as white's tree's.
I'm thinking the Exo Terra 25W Daytime Heat lamp? Would I use this year round or just during winter?
It would be so helpful to hear everyone's suggestions
I've posted a fair bit about this subject ... sorry if its getting annoying
A heat lamp sounds okay. Whether you use it year round should depend on the temperature of your house. I use a space heater along with a ceramic heat emitter in a lamp since my house is very cold in the winter.
Eventually you might want to get a taller tank, since White's climb a lot at night and they need all the exercise they can get.
