Exclamation Heating Bulb Broke Need Help!

Last night I got the cage set up. Put the red night time bulb in to keep my new frog warm. Woke up this morning and noticed substrate was rather dry. Took frog out. Added water to entire cage and mixed it up until it clumped kinda like snow, but not soupy. Took night time light out and added blue daylight light bulb and it didn't work. Panic set in because I didn't have anything to warm it with so I just put in a normal 40 watt light bulb from a house lamp. Its not super bright, just a regular light bulb will this work for a week until I get paid again? Should I just keep red light in instead?

If it was me, I would prob keep the red bulb on, and during the day just make sure there is some light in the tank. Like keep a lamp near it, or some light from windows.
