Question monsoon rain? fogger? hand spray?

    Hi Everyone
I just ordered a 29 gallon bumblebee viv. When I ordered it I was thinking I'd hand mist it each day. Now I'm wondering if I should consider one of the other options. Any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Patrick

I have both a monsoon and fogger for my whites and over all they much prefer the fogger but the monsoon is nice so you don't have to wory about spraying them the same time each day

Have Paul install a mistking system for you. Well worth the extra money. Set it on a timer and the tank becomes on autopilot.

I hand mist all of my tanks, which becomes bothersome at times, but I am very hands on and am always messing with my plants. It's therapeutic for me lol

My concern with the monsoon is over saturation of the substrate. My concern with the fogger is my house sitter doing it properly

I just text Paul. I would also enjoy misting but I'm worried about the days I get stuck at work and when I'm on vacation

That's why a misting system on a timer is a godsend! Paul is excellent at what he does and will make sure you are set up properly.

A Mistking system is absolutely the best misting system that money can buy I have 5 of my tanks setup on one right now and am waiting to set the rest up as soon as I buy more nozzles

I spoke with Paul yesterday (he's the gentleman building the vivarium). We come to the same conclusion the mistking is the best unit but it won't work in my situation. NYC apartments are small and I'm actually putting the vivarium on a old disconnected radiator in my living room. I have no place to put the mostking. I've been doing research and although the monsoon would fit right next to the vivarium the reviews were not good. So I've decided to hand mist daily. I wish I could figure something out but that seems to be my only option

That sucks. If you are going to hand mist, grab yourself one of these:
They are sold at fish shops and reptile shops at an exaggerated price, but you can get them at Home Depot or lowe's (if there is one near you), for much less.

there's a home Depot not far from me
I had seen one of these on foster and smith but I can run over to home Depot. I can't believe there's not a good quality compact unit like monsoon where unlike the mistking I have to have a bucket sitting in my living room. Smh

Yeah. It's a shame really. The monsoon is an excellent concept, just poorly built. I went through 3 in a year. I would rather hand mist all of my tanks before i wasted any money on one of those.

i just speak the truth Paul. i always give credit where credit is due.

and this: "I spoke with Paul yesterday (he's the gentleman building the vivarium). We come to the same conclusion the mistking is the best unit but it won't work in my situation. NYC apartments are small and I'm actually putting the vivarium on a old disconnected radiator in my living room. I use a cool mist humidifier on a mistking timer on one of my tanks and it does a pretty good job and you can find them in a variety of sizes (some bigger some smaller than a monsoon system) mine has been in use for several months now without a problem
