Thread: Calcium

    Default Calcium

My PAC Man frog is eating very well, and I want to know how many crickets I should feed him at a time, and how often I should feed him. Also, how often should I powder the crickets with calcium? And how many crickets at a time?

Additional note: He is about 3 inches in length and 2 inches wide

Imo, a well gutloaded cricket doesn't need to be dusted anymore. Pacman's rarely move unless it is to eat, mate or dig so check the size of the gap between their eyes and feed twice that amount since they have voracious appetites. A twice a week feeding is usually okay and helps prevent your frog from bloating or getting impacted from indigestion. Keep in a mind, a well-fed adult pacman frog can survive a full month eating only once in a worse case scenario as one member posted before.
