Would I be able to feed my pyxie frog a hard boiled egg?
I don't see how that would be logical..... A frog would not eat any cooked items or eggs in the wild so I just don't see why you should feed him an egg.
Litoria caerulea 1.1.0 (White's Tree Frog)
Lampropeltis triangulum hondurensis 0.1.0 (Anerythristic Honduran Milk Snake) Tliltocatl albopilosus 0.0.2 (Curly Hair Tarantula)
Aphonopelma hentzi 0.0.1 (Texas Brown Tarantula)
Avicularia avicularia 0.0.2 (Pinktoe Tarantula)
Brachypelma smithi ex. annitha 0.0.1 (Mexican Giant Red Knee Tarantula) Monocentropus balfouri 0.0.2 (Socotra Island Blue Baboon Tarantula)
Harpactira pulchripes 0.0.1 (Golden Blue Leg Baboon Tarantula)
LOL was this serious
Yes, actually. Pyxie frogs in the wild are known to actually CLIMB trees and steal eggs from birds nests. They bring the eggs back to their burrow and cook them every sunday morning. So it should be alright as long as you're not doing it too often, just on sundays.
Sloom that's hilarious. You just gave me my laugh for the day. L.O.L
sunny side up
I wasnt joking when I asked the question.. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=N_4ketC4hj0
Wow, you weren't jokeing. The video says an infertile egg, so I think there is some what of a chick in there. I don't think he just grabbed an egg out of the fridge and boiled it, he probably has a chicken farm or a friend with one.
that frog is quite the tong feeder. i dont think its good for them but iv never tried. i used to eat raw eggs when i was a kid until i heard it can cause problems with digestion. infertal would mean its not fertalized.
i was thinking about this and thought maybe they can smell the protein and calcium or that its from a bird. eggs sweat thru the shell abit so maybe thats it
So should I give it a try and feed him one? Lol
i wouldnt feed mine one.
