Hello FrogForum enthusiasts! It's been quite awhile since I've posted or visited the forum lately. I no longer have any frogs. A lot has happened in my life that I can no longer devote enough time to keep frogs. I may wind up with a PacMan or Pixie Frog down the road, who knows.
My question is about a rain chamber set up I plan on doing for a reptile of mine. I thought the raining effect would enhance his enclosure since he is a tropical species (Chinese Water Dragon). I've tried searching the forum, but haven't found any DIY instructions really and have found a few very cheap/easy tutorials via YouTube, but I want it to be a little more professional looking with not a whole bunch of air tubes and a plastic tub sitting on top of Smaug's (My Chinese Water Dragon) enclosure. Can anyone direct me to DIY specific threads that I may have overlooked or a video they've personally used. I'm mainly wondering about what type of air pump or filter?? to use to pump the water up through the PVC piping I've gotten. I think what I've concluded would be a pond pump of some sort. I'd prefer it to have a filter. Any recommendations? TIA.
I believe I need something like this?: Amazon.com : VicTsing® 80 GPH Submersible Pump Aquarium Fish Tank Powerhead Fountain Water Hydroponic : Pressure Washer Pumps : Patio, Lawn & Garden
So, I ordered it. I have Prime, so it'll be here by Sunday - which is weird as we never get mail on Sunday, so I imagine Monday. It's no big deal that it will take that long to get here, though.
