    Default New Friend..

Can I keep my new Long toed Salamander in the same tank as my Pacific Chorus Frogs? Should I look into a new terrarium?

Yes ! they need separate enclosures.

California Laws Regarding Reptiles and Amphibians

I'm sure you know amphibians should not be released back into their natural habitat to avoid introducing diseases they may have contracted in captivity to wild populations.

I dont plan on releasing my babies any time soon... or at all. I love them too much. I have a seperate tank already set up for Gus. (thats what my fiance named him) Its a simple critter keeper for now, with lots of substrate to burrow in, a large terrarium plant/rock to hide under, a little wading pool, and lots of little plants to play with. He is only about an inch and half long, and from my research this means that he is still just a baby.

I have pictures of my Pacific Tree Frogs, Pierre, Francine, and Gaston, but none of Gus. I will try and get some today.

My pacific tree frogs have 3 albums all to themselves, here: Kazzie's Albums
