I feel like i'm asking a new question every week. Sorry about that.
I just needed to know if i'm able to feed mealworms to my pixie. Just realized i'm all out of nightcrawlers, but I have plenty of mealworms.
Iv read that they're too hard to digest, and iv also read that they're just fine.
Anybody have any first hand problems with mealworms? Should I just let him go the night without food, and get some in the morning?
I don't buy into that "They eat holes in there stomachs" thing.
If fed exclusively/often bowel issues can occur. A couple once or twice a month in a varied diet wont cause any harm. Especially if night crawlers are the main portion of its food.

i think meal worms are too small for it and contain too much chitin....if u have super worms u will be better off feeding ur frog those...but dont feed them too often as they are high in fat
Mealworms are not a replacement for night crawlers. Go and buy more NC's and frog will love you more for it !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
