I have been researching different arboreal pets and I am not having luck figuring out the best for me. There are just SO many options. I am in no rush but the sooner I find something I like the sooner I can get to in depth research ( I research all species but potential pets I read every care sheet possible.)
I am looking for something arboreal that can happily live its life ( or at least several years) in a 12x12x18 terrarium, I would like something that enjoys a lush tropical looking decor but is not overly sensitive. Also something that is ok with a variety of temperatures would be great ( though I am more than willing to stick a heat pad to the back of the terrarium to bring it to mid 70's as a consistent temp)
Activity level isnt very important to me but something not overly demanding is a must. I know all pets will need supplements, calcium, misting, live food as well as daily monitoring of temps and humidity, I can handle that.
Sorry if I am rambling. It just seems the more I research the more pops up and it seems to be time to call on owners and their experiences.
