I have a tank that been up and running some time now. It has a water feature in it. The question that I have is, Is it safe to use water treatments chemicals like in a fish tank? I am doing a monthly water change. The frogs love sitting in the waterfall. Any help would be great. Thank for you for looking.
I treat my water with seachem prime, same as I use on my betta tank.

If you are using tap water you should treat the water. I use R.O. water for all my vivariums for both water features and misting.
I use distilled bottle water for misting, fogging and water feature.
Distilled does not have what your frogs need as their main water source. It is fine for misting (great for misting actually) but not as their water source. Here is a good post to read regarding that -
