So, I listen to a lot of music in my room. And I just so happen to keep my Fire Bellies and Leopard Gecko in that same room.
My question is, will the loud bass from my subs bother the fire belly toads? I didn't think much of it til somebody told me the bass could be stressing out my Leo, and could be causing permanent hearing damage...
Is that true? If it is true, could the same apply to my Fire Belly Toads? I'm already trying to figure out where to move the Leo...
Should I move the Fire Bellies as well? They eat normal, act normal and look normal.... In fact, I fed them the other day WHILE my music was still on, and they didn't really care. But I also thought my Leo didn't care, and people have been telling me otherwise.
Advice?
Ill never turn off my music, so that's just not an option...
There is a possibility that it bothers them and the stress will not manifest itself for quite some time. If you have the option to move them, I woiuld. Better safe than sorry!

Myself would move them if it's really loud in there. Also; check your hearing and be aware that prolonged exposure to loud environments will cause permanent damage to your hearing. This is from a guy with incurable tinnitus on both ears... it's not fun !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
Thanks for the responses. The music/bass isn't THAT loud, but it is loud enough for them to hear it...definitely not loud enough to hurt a human ear though.
But anyway, i'll be moving them to a quieter place when I change them to a 29 gallon next week.
Til then ill put them first and keep the volume on the low.
Unrelated question....I use nightcrawlers for a staple, and I really like it. It's much easier then dealing with bugs all the time.
But how much worm do I feed them?...Does the 15 minute rule apply to nightcrawlers? Usually I just feed them as much as they want, but lately they don't want to stop! I'm pretty sure my littlest one "Bowser" could eat til he explodes...
So any recommendations for how much worm to feed each "toad"?
Also, should I gut load nightcrawlers? If so, with what?
