    Default Oophaga pumilio 'san cristobal'

Has anyone had experience in keeping these? I had a 20 gallon long tank that i converted tank and was considering getting some cristobals. Does anyone know if they would utilize the climbing space? Or if the height is just a waste and they would just prefer to sit on the ground

    Hi,
They will most certainly use the height!
In fact, you could go even larger for housing, if you can swing it!
They will breed readily --- you will want the extra space when there are froglets banging around
This is one PDF species that really DOES need lots of broms!
A ton of leaf litter for froglets - IMO froglets should remain in the parental enclosure for at least 3 months.

    ie : I house ( paired ) pumilio in exo terra 18 x18 x 24H---traditional layer bottom---drilled for natural drain-off
( modified screen lid to ----> replaced with glass)
