Question Do these local pet shop frogs look healthy?

I plan on buying either a RETF or a WTF from my local pet store in a week or too. They just got some in. I found pictures on their website. Do these frogs look healthy?

They do not look terribly unhealthy. If you're new to tree frogs though, I'd definitely go with a whites. They are more forgiving to a newbie owner's mistakes. Even the slightest errors can make a RETF very sick.

You may want to ask if they are captive bred or wild caught, wild caught are more likely to have parasites and have trouble adjusting to captivity.

They get their animals from breeders. They just got a new shipment in. Ive been going to my local petshop for many years now, and all the pets i ever got were healthy. I never bought reptiles from their though, but they have big enclosures and are very clean. I was leaning to whites more. I noticed the white spots on the red eyed and some on the whites legs. Are these just a normal marking? I might be going to check them out saturday. Ill take pictures and examine them more then

Yes, the white spots are normal, like freckles.

Here are some care sheets to read through to help you decide.

Daniel, in another post, she says the whites are all babies. So that may account for them looking a bit thinner.

Of course, they could also be stock pics and not pics of the actually animals they have in the store.

Hard to tell without a size reference but it doesn't look like a baby to me. May be a young one but I'm still willing to bet that the one pictured is a WC indo.

    Bill is likely right though.
