I just wanted to say Hi, first of all, I'm new :3
But anyway in a week or two I plan on getting a whites tree frog from my local shop. They are babies.
What I was wondering is that I know whites like height over length, so I was wondering if I could possible turn a 10 gallon tank on its end so it has more height? Will I be able to put a light above it? I plan on getting the screen lids were you can open one half at a time, so I can cut something out and put it on the bottom part so the bedding doesn't come out, but I can still open the top to get the frog. This would be temporary, since he/she is just a baby. I plan on getting a 20 something gallon exo Terra when it grows up.
Could I do this?
Thanks!
Hello and welcome to frog forum! Converting a 10 gallon tank to a vertical is a great idea until you get your bigger tank. Jungle Box has a conversion kit that would make it simple Vert Kits & DIY parts – Jungle Box
If you do your own, make sure everything is very secure. Frogs are good at finding and getting through the smallest opening.

Hi Nova! Using the Jungle box product that Amy linked you or looking at what they do and then copying it on your own is the best method. I have learned the hard way that trying to reinvent the wheel on things is just a pain and costly. Good luck
