    Default Subspecies of Northern Red Salamander

    Found this black-chinned salamander (Pseudotriton schencki) the other day during field work. Name:  black-chinned 2.jpg

Size:  72.8 KB This is a subspecies of the Northern red salamander. (Pseudotriton ruber) Found in a drainage area in north central PA. Just thought I'd share!!
