    Default GABF full aquatic setup

I have a 40 gallon long tank for my ever growing GABF but now for the second time the divider has broken a seal and I had major swamp on the dry side. I have a fluval 406 tank filter system and was just wondering if I can just clean out the swamp and run a 6in deep full water tank for him. I don't think he will mind because he only come to the land to eat. any thought or concerns would be great. its just getting super annoying going through this every 3 months

Could I just do a island out of a Tupperware container full of fiber?

did you remove the seams and re do the whole tank or did you just go over the old seams?

I didn't go over the old seam. I made a new one. It gave him less land and more water. you can see where the old one was

sorry i meant the original ones running length wise on the bottom. did you redo the entire tanks silicone or did you just silicone new to those old ones on the bottom?

You need to redo the silicone completely or it won't seal properly

Silicone is pretty cool stuff. It sticks well to just about everything, but will not stick to other cured silicon. If you have a leak in the tank itself you will need to scrap the silicone off that seam and redo it.

    Default GABF full aquatic setup

Well I put a very unhappy bullfrog in a 10 gallon tank for now. I'm not going to put another divider in the tank. I got a 6in deep rubber made tub I'm going to put in his 40 gallon and just keep his Eco earth there with a few crafty ways to get in and out. Thanks for all the input guys. As always this is the best place to go with problems and get great answers!
