Goodmorning everyone, I have a quick question I was hopeing someone could help me out on. How many months old does a pacman frog have to be before being considered an adult. Im just trying to figure out if i should still be cutting his worms to an inch or if I can give him/her full ones. I have had him/her for 3months an about a week, and he/she is about 2 3/4 in from snout to vent.
1 to 1.5 years. Some species take longer. They should hit sexual maturity around 9 months for males and 18 months for females for C. cranwelli and C. ornata.
At that size you can give him/her a whole worm.
Hi, thank you. Did u mean I could give him a full worm now? And if I tong feed him will the bit of cocofibre that gets on the worm from the end sticking out of his mouth cause him to
get backed up? I know that may seem like a silly question because its not a lot of cocofibre but he has to be given a warm bath every couple of weeks to go already or he wont go.
The coco fibre shouldn't back it up if it is in very small amounts. My frog sometimes gets a mouthful when getting crickets and she had never had problems with being backed up.

Thanks, and for the other part of the question about the worm size do u think grif meant he could eat a whole worm now or when fully grown. Hes about 2 3/4 inches. And do u think if he has trouble already going poo that a full nitecrawler might be to much?
Your frog is definitely big enough to eat a whole worm, especially considering that it is a pacman. It shouldn't cause constipation especially since it is soft unlike a cricket out meal worm. The nightcrawler doesn't have chitin which is the main cause for constipation

I think I've been feeding full worms since both of my pacmans were approx 1-1.5" Snout to Vent; and nightcrawlers I mean. Infact, the smaller of my two, Geroro, is only two months old since I got him at like, a quarter size and I just fed him 3-4 BIG nightcrawlers the other day. At that size your pacman is definitely okay with whole nightcrawlers. I only cut them if it's a baby pacman.
One worm should be fine. Use your judgement though. Some Night Crawlers are larger than others. If it looks to large offer a smaller one.
