Hi,
finally, I´m about to get my first Pacman
Well, actually, it will take a few more months- it´s a young (but almost full-grown) cranwelli female that will estivate from November-December/January in its present home before the move. After estivation, I want to give the frog enough time to wake up and eat properly before the transfer, but I think I will get it in the end of January/ beginning of February. Now, my place is quite cold in winter and I wonder what´s the best way to heat the tank especially at night (during daytime, heating will be easy enough by the use of heat spots I think- I will work this out before getting the frog). Room temp sometimes drops to 56°F (shiver...) A heating pad only heats the ground, right? Will this suffice or are there better ways (like dark heat lamps) for a ~15 gal. tank? Thanks.
