    Default another basic first viv

I stuck with the background that came with the tank and added a nice piece of ghostwood. It looks busy but I like it.
For the plants, I used my own or got them from friends. There are supposedly springtail and isopod cultures hanging out in there.
I have a feeling I'm going to regret doing substrate instead of water and big rocks or something since my frog likes to hang out on the ground. But I wanted live plants, so...

    Here are improvements I want:
adding extra screen around two sides to ensure ABG doesn't spill into the drainage.
    Leaves on the ground
    Cork round hiding drainage pipe
    Hide underneath ghost wood
Some kind of short ground-cover plant
Thinking of moving the snake plant to the other side of the tank.

Can anyone see any way to add some good hiding/climbing spots? I know the substrate slopes, but the drainage layer doesn't. Much.
Any ideas for ground cover? I'd do moss but apparently it dies back frequently.

You can still use live plants if you want just a water section! The pothos will grow in water and thrive. Ive seen that cork rounds and flats make great hide spots for frogs with all the cracks and crevices in the bark. Wandering Jew and Irish moss make great ground cover. The wandering Jew would need some trimming to prevent it from growing vertically.

This is for my White's tree frog. I may put in some Irish moss, thanks Ryan. I already have striped transcendentia/ wandering jew around the base of my wood.

Maybe I'll eventually redo the tank with water, a pump and a water heater. It's just that I have bad memories of draining aquariums. This will do in the meantime. (Unless I get tired of the frog always being in the dirt.)
