    Default avocado for roaches

I've read some people giving avocado to roaches and they love it. But is it safe being in their bellies when a frog eats one? TY

Roaches will be fine with it, but the frog's sake, I'd err on the side of caution and say no.

My gut feeling says that it would be fine... But due to the potential toxicity of avocados to birds, I generally don't recommend them (even indirectly) for herps (especially lizards). Roaches will thrive on just about any other type of produce. The more variety the more nutritious the insects will be for your frog, so shoot for nutrient dense things to act as a both a moisture source and gutload (fruits, veggies, dark leafy greens).
