Default Red eyed tree frogs sleeping a lot

I have my lights on my tank on a 12 hour cycle and noticed that my red eyes are only out hunting for about 4 hours then they climb back up on the wall and go into there sleeping positions but are still awake then in the morning they close there eyes. Is this normal??

That is a broad range - from 68F to 84.5F. Reds should be kept at 75 - 78f during the day and 72 - 74 at night...

If you can try and get your temps around 78'F day and 72-75F night it will help to simulate a daytime warm up and nighttime cool down. Give it a try and see how it works .
