I've noticed my wtf stays brown humidity an temps are 70 to 80% and 75 to 80 degrees, does turn green when sleeping, but once he wakes turns brown, could it be because the plants aren't covering completely, any ideas
I don't own frogs, but a lot of people have asked this question on the forum. Judging by the responses, color changes are pretty common and nothing to be worried about. I think someone said that higher humidity and lower temps lead to turning brown sometimes, but not necessarily. Color doesn't seem to be related to health.
Nobody really knows. That's the darned truth!! Lol seriously, they change randomly on their own accord. Mine would change constantly. I think it was just their way of screwing with me so I couldn't figure out who was who. Lol
