I bought an ADF back in april and shes in a 5.5 gal tank by herself. The temp is at 76F. The nitrites/nitrates are at 0. She eats just fine. Today I noticed that she wedged herself between a leaf of one of the plants in her tank and the wall (which is normal) but today shes stayed there all day. I lured her out for food but after she ate she went right back. Now shes sticking her head completely out of the water (rest of body is still submerged). Is this just one of those zen things? Could something bad happen if she keeps her head out too long? She seems other wise healthy: clear eyes, healthy looking skin, active at night and eats well. please help

Hello and welcome to FF! Geoff link provides great explanation. As long as water parameters are OK and frog looks healthy and eats; would not worry about any frog antics . It's is probably checking out for escape routes or just messing with your head .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
Thank you for the swift replies! My little froggy seems to be doing okay, still, and thanks to you guys my anxiety has calmed down a bit. Funny how we can get so worried about our little froggy friends!
