This morning, a weird blue film appeared on the water of my FBT tank. It happens to be the day after I added three new frogs. Can anyone explain it, and is it dangerous?

I have seen that many times before in my tank. But its always because i forgot to change the water. Is the water filtered? If so what brand. Either way how often is the water changed?
Litoria caerulea 1.1.0 (White's Tree Frog)
Lampropeltis triangulum hondurensis 0.1.0 (Anerythristic Honduran Milk Snake) Tliltocatl albopilosus 0.0.2 (Curly Hair Tarantula)
Aphonopelma hentzi 0.0.1 (Texas Brown Tarantula)
Avicularia avicularia 0.0.2 (Pinktoe Tarantula)
Brachypelma smithi ex. annitha 0.0.1 (Mexican Giant Red Knee Tarantula) Monocentropus balfouri 0.0.2 (Socotra Island Blue Baboon Tarantula)
Harpactira pulchripes 0.0.1 (Golden Blue Leg Baboon Tarantula)
I change the water once a week. My water is filtered. It's the filter that comes with the Tetrafauna viquarium (was it Tetrafauna? Can't remember), though it's such a bad filter I'm planning on getting a small canister to help out.
Glad the film isn't dangerous. I just did a water change to get rid of it, and the tank is good as new.

Those films are usually caused by excess organics in the water. You added frogs which increased the poop and pee from frogs. Increasing the amount of water changes will help until the filter catches up. If filter pads are dirty just clean them in tank water removed during water change. Replacing pads now can bring about a crash and re-cycle in tank. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
I'll do them twice a week for a while until the filter's all good. How long do you think I should do that for?

Check your Ammonia and Nitrite levels and do increased water changes until they both return to 0. Probably a couple weeks should do .

Got it. Thanks a bunch, Carlos and Eli!

Like the guys said before me, biofilm is the result of life. But it is also a sign of a lack of water flow, which is why you see it on ponds and lakes, but not in running water. An external canister with higher flow characteristics will make it go bye bye
