Hey there! I'm a newbie frog owner of a Boreal Chorus Frog by the name of Kermit!

I came to this site hoping other frog owners can provide me some advice/insight. So I have had my little friend Kermit for about a month now and recently I noticed he was getting "fat". I used to feed him 1 small cricket every other day but now it's every 3-4 days as he seems more reluctant to eat the cricket when I dangle it over his face. I assumed he was getting a bit plumpy because I may have been feeding him too often but yesterday, after 4 days of not feeding, he still seemed hesitant to eat and appeared to be bloated.

Here is a picture of him from a few days ago when I thought he was just fat: http://i.imgur.com/SAc0y3F.jpg

I placed him last night in a container filled with bottled water because I thought it was edema: http://i.imgur.com/nnTVrUM.jpg (his foot doesn't have fungus, it's just the distortion of the water)
His behaviour still remains the same (jumping around, not lethargic) except for his reluctance to eat.

He seems a bit better today and he pooped so I'm guessing it's not any impaction problem! But he is still quite plump-looking
Also, his belly is squishy to touch and not firm.

I'm not very experienced with amphibians, let alone frogs, so if anyone could help, I'd greatly appreciate it!
