    Default Mopani or Grape??

Hey all! I picked up this piece of wood a loooooong time ago, and don't even remember what kind it was, and I was inexperienced back then, and didn't even know the issues of having grapewood in a high humidity environment. The wood has been in my hermit crab tank for about 7-9 months now, which stays at around 75-85% humidity, buried halfway in moist playsand, and hasn't molded. I think it's safe to say that it is mopani as a result, but I want to be sure, so I have a couple of pics on it. I would really like to have it in the water feature of my almost completed AGTF vivarium as a better transition from water to land for the frogs. Enough rambling, here are the pics:

And one more for a better color reference against slightly damp coco fiber in my crab tank:

    Thanks for any help

Grape wood is super light compared to its size. Mopani just feels dense and heavy. Before you put that into your vivarium I would recommend you boil it for 15 mins and then bake it in the over at 225 for about 2 hours. This will kill any nasties that may be on it. Wouldn't want to accidentally transfer something into your frog tank

Thanks, I thought that it had to be mopani too. And of course, Paul, I already did all that. I wouldn't want to risk injury to my precious frog
