    Default Moss for Wet Conditions

What's a good moss that will grow well in wet conditions? My current moss continues to die off because my tank has very wet conditions. Anyone know any?

If it's that wet, have you tried freshwater aquarium mosses like Java Moss, Taxiphyllum barbieri; Christmas Moss, Vesicularia montagnei; or similar?

Thank you! I'll try those. Do they need to be submerged in water or just very close to it?

as long as there is high humidity in the enclosure, aquatic mosses will grow just about anywhere. otherwise, you want them close to water where there is more humidity.

what kind of moss were you using before? not all mosses are created equal, so to speak. tropical sheet mosses deal with high humidity/wet conditions very well. native mosses don't fare well in tropical tanks.

I was using Josh Frogs sheet moss. It doesn't do well in my tank. My humidity is usually in the high 60s to early 70s. Will it need to be higher?

I never liked Josh's moss. Black jungle's is better.

70% is a little low, but give it a shot. You'll know within a couple days if it is happy. It dries out pretty quickly if it's in a bad spot.
