When I first got my C. cranwelli she wouldn't touch dubias but now that she's full grown she'll eat them no problem. I like roaches sooooooo much better than crickets, so much in fact I now keep 5 different Sp.'s lol

May be a silly question but do the roaches make any noise like crickets?

My GABF and Cranwelli love Dubias. The Ornata prefers night crawlers but will generally take roaches when offered. I have issues with my fantasy frog though, he is extremely timid, but will take smaller dubias once in a while. There is no comparison between crickets and dubias. Dubias don't smell hardly at all, the only noise they make is from crawling around the bin, they are much bigger meals, don't escape, are easy to care for. Try dubias, you'll never go back to crickets.

depends on the roach sp. I can hear my dubia skittering around their tubs after dark, my I don't hear anything from my lats. But my hissers tho... They can get pretty loud when the males are fighting. Between the hissing, their heads thumping together, and the thump of them hitting the walls of the bin after getting nailed by another can get pretty loud, but not cricket loud. Its pretty interesting to watch tho.
