Hello, I have 2 cane toads that I have had since January 2014 and I am not sure of the gender of them. Any input is appreciated!
Thanks,
Duncan

Don't keep them myself; but tell tell signs are males that call or develop the presence of "nuptial pads" in their front legs "thumbs," which are used to hold on to female during mating. Your toads might still be too young to show them. AmphibiaWeb has recording of males calling, maybe playing it to toads might get a response .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
Yeah, I cant seem to find a picture of nuptial pads on a cane toad, but that recording is a good idea, thank you
edit: i found a picture and was holding my toads looking for them, when i flipped them over, they started doing a stress call. It wasnt the actual call, they were just vibrating. Do males and females do this?
