Default intricate vivariums, breakdown or no? For cleaning

I am new to frogs, i have my tadpole with hind legs and my froglet in their own kritter keepers for now. i keep them simple and easy to clean. I realize i can also keep a simple enclosure when they grow up, but for those who have a complex vivarium with soil, plants, etc..How do you clean the enclosure, or do you not have to? is it it's own little eco-system? I have Gray tree frogs and I know their care is fairly easy. i am trying to figure out what i want to do. i know i need a tall enclosure, and there is a reptile expo in Hamburg aug 2, and i am going with friends.

It really depends... If you seed your substrate with micro fauna you can expect to get 1 - 2 years out of the soil before it needs to be replaced.

I do weekly spot cleaning on my tanks. Wipe down all exposed glass, trim plants, and water change or top off water as needed. That is really all I have to do typically.
