    Unhappy RETF Eye Colour Question

    Hello,

I have a Red Eye Tree Frog, for 2 weeks now, he is a 2 years old specimen, and has been moved recently to a new home.
My question is the following, and i am a bit worried, but i haven't got much experience, so excuse me.

His eyes should be RED, but they are actually not. It's more likely white/orangeish around the pupils.

Is that something serious, or it's just his colour changing ability, and the stress cause he's been moved, or the enviroment he has is bad?
He has a 45x45x60 tall exo-terra vivarium, heat mat underneath, 5.0 uvb lamp at daytime, misting twice a day, drinking bowl with water, and it's quite humid. Also a live plant he loves sleeping on the leaves.

He's eating 3rd brown crickets gut fed with vegetables, 3-4pcs per 2 days (been daily 3 before but he ate too much i guess)

He's sleeping a lot hard to catch him awake even at night.

Any advices, and ideas about the eye colour?

    Thanks

Hello and welcome to FF Aldaris ! Hum... I don't keep RETFs; but yours does not look like ones I've seen before. I know there are various color morphs; so maybe it is one I'm unaware off . Just in case, here is an article with a couple pics so you can compare to yours: Frog Forum - Red-Eyed Leaf Frog/Red Eyed Tree Frog Care - Agalychnis callidryas.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

As i am searching more and more about this, it looks like he has some of the properties of the blue sided tree frogs ( juvenile Agalychnis Annae )
They have these kind of eyes sometimes, but they don't have the special blue marks on the legs.
