Good afternoon!
I grabbed some fruit flies from PETCO this past Wednesday July 2nd. They were from a new shipment that arrived the previous day
I got them home and fed Atwater and Elway, my chorus frogs. On Wednesday there were plenty to feed, but I have not had any hatch since then.
There are small white moving larvae and a bunch of hard, tan rice grain things stuck to the sides of the container.
My question is....are the "rice" things the last stage of development? Or are my fly larvae dying off before they morph?
Thanks

Yes theey will make a small brown cucoon and hatch out again as flys in a few days prbably 3 if in a dark area
Infact i bought 4 more just incase and now they have all hatched out and i have a huge fly culture and only 6 darts
Awesome! Thanks for the help!
No problem i am sorta new to this hobby as well. At least as far as dartfrogs go.
Idk if you knew but it helps to have extra flys bc a growing frog can eat something like 30 to 60 flys a day by itself. When i found that out. I bought the other 4 haha
