I probably should have asked this before i fed it some last night, but anyways. I want to know if its safe because i know earwigs have those pincers on them and i didn't know if they can hurt him after he has eaten them. My house is kinda overrunned by them at the moment so it would be very convenient if they were safe to eat.

The earwigs won't be able to hurt your toad physically. But wild caught insects may have pesticides or other pathogens that COULD harm your toad. You and your toad would be much better off if you stuck with captive bred feeders.

OK. My toad is wild so i don't see why i would have to buy captive bred. I mostly try to fed it crickets and sow bugs.

Despite the fact that your toad is wild, he will eventually lose those antibodies and immunities to pathogens. The same reason we get flu shots every year. The virus changes as time goes on.
The Frog chooses its owner. Treat your life-long friend with respect and care and it will never disappoint!

Oh ok. Is it alright if i feed her wild insects for the rest of the year? My parents still aren't 100% sure if i can keep it permanently, it depends my behavior and a few other things. So i don't want to switch to captive bred yet in case they force me to release it in the fall.
