Setting up a new viv/paludarium an I have been having a hard time finding African golden sedge frogs (H. puncticulatus) I was going to order from backwater reptiles but then I read reviews and they seem a little too sketchy. Please if anyone has a few I'd be happy to purchase them from you for a reasonable price. Thanks!
Don't hear much about them ?
I'll be going to the WP show on 7/6/2014 l'll poke around for you ! However I don't recall having seen them.
I believe they will all be will caught. You will want to be prepared for a proper QT period.
Are you able to get to backwater rep. Have you spoken to them/speak to a person in charge?
You might want to make your own decision regarding their commitment to supply healthy specimens?
They are gorgeous frogs----
Hope your house is nice and warm
My 1st thought is to PM or leave a visitors message for Terry.
She might know?

I will give backwater a chance, however , I understand they are a drop ship company? The enclosure will be outdoors on a covered patio but will be monitored closely as I frequently have time between both of my jobs to check in on my other critters. I will definitely try talking to terry as well to find out whatever I can. Where is the WP show being held? I'm fairly new to herp keeping but very intriegued by the different species available in the pet trade. I actually chose this species BC a resource I'd read on them said that there are usually cb individuals available. I still want this species if I can get it and if possible get it to breed which would be fun. The book I read also said that this is a relativelyshort lived species compared to others having a lifespan of only about 2-4 years. The book was published a few years ago and may not be completely accurate now. Thank you for your very prompt response!
Unfortunately they no longer have these frogs in stock bummer!
