Hi, does anyone here know anything about these animals like how big they get and with that how big an enclosure for them, Do they do well in groups temps and humidity, pretty much the basics. and anything that sets them apart from any other tree frogs
thank you
I assume you are talking about Agalychnis moreletii (Black-Eyed Leaf Frog). The care is the same as Agalychnis callidryas (Red-Eyed Leaf Frog). http://www.frogforum.net/tree-frog-c...allidryas.html In fact when they are folded up sleeping on a leaf you cannot tell them apart. The differences are that moreletii do not have the bold colors and they have solid big black eyes. A moreletii is also considered critically endangered by IUCN and is listed in CITES Appendix II. I think they are absolutely beautiful and one of my favorite frogs.
is the life span the same or is every detail of the red eyes care sheet identical to their care and are they as delicate as the RETF's
and yes i was talking about A. moreletii
They are identical.
These guys are on my wish list. I blame Paul and his amazing pictures...curses!!
do you know where i can buy some? possibly captive bred
I have a friend who breeds them. He is the only other person I know of that has any. Call his phone number from this link and leave a message. Tell him I asked you to call him.

Well that sucks, almost as bad as nailing your right hand with a chainsaw.
Michael Novy should be at Hamburg next Saturday. I am hoping to get some clowns from him.
