Hi.
I am raising Gray Tree Frog tadpoles. At the moment they are quite small, and are doing well feeding on organic romaine lettuce. In another week I will add some organic spinach to their diet for some added nutrients. The internet is filled with conflicting information on what to feed tadpoles. For instance, one source claims that in the later stages of their development, tadpoles should be feed foods high in protein. Foods such as egg yolks were suggested, which I'd rather not use. So, assuming that the protein claim is true, can anyone suggest a good protein-based food for my tadpoles in their later stages? Ideally, organic vegetable-based protein.
I have read that spinach does contain small amounts of protein. Anyone have an opinion on whether this would be sufficient?
Looking forward to your reply.
Thank you.

Hello, I would try feeding them fruit flies and see if that works. If that doesn't work you could try fish flakes that are high in protein. I hope this helps!
Thank you, Strider.
I appreciate that you took the time to reply.
