Making a waterfall
Hello everyone,
I was wanting to put a 1 foot tall waterfall in a tank I plan to build. I was wondering if anyone knew how many gph the pump would have to be to have a nice steady trickle? Thanks everyone!

Shouldn't need much of one. I used a 97gph pump for a waterfall once and it was a nice slow trickle of a waterfall. Hose prob ran more then 12" up the tank.

I'd agree with Paul. It doesn't take much to run a soft waterfall. It's really not so much about flow (gph), but head height, which is the max height the pump will push water. Just make sure the pump will push the water easily to the height you need and you'll be good.
